Programme Type: Undergraduate

The department fulfils one of its major roles by teaching involving all the academic staff in teaching undergraduate students. The departmental staff including senior residents teach undergraduate medical students right from 100 level (History of Medicine) to 600 level (community health diagnosis). It also teaches elective courses taken by other undergraduate students from other departments especially within the faculty. These include nursing students and students from the department of anatomy and physiology. At each level of teaching a coordinator is appointed to serve this purpose.
